Day after the day after the storm

A beautiful, frosty day! It was so cold it was quite, you could hear pine needles hit the snow.

The air was so clear and pure, it felt like a great day to be in the mountains for sure.
It seemed colder at the bottom than the top and ridge lines.

The snow became very variable over night, with patches of soft, fluffy snow to piles of hardened death crust. Alta was fun though, soft over there all along the ridge line and wind lips. It all then boiled down to chips, good ole' chips, the constant friend, and walk on trams all day! Another day to smile for

I don't know how or why I grabbed there, but it threw me off, ok it was the jumps fault too!
12" of fresh snow fell over night. Today turned into the best day of the season for me. Really good lines, good snow, good friends, good jumps, etc. I was trying to spin on everything and I landed my first fs cab 540, yeah for me! I fell 2 of the 3 times I tried, redemption manana. The day started off early, especially after my late night. Then, I picked Kristian up @ 7:20. We headed to the canyon and:stuck behind the plows the entire way up.

It made us miss first tram, but we got the 2nd one, which was better b/c by ten they had opened up Great Scott and the cirque. The rest of the day went with Krisitan and I switching back and fourth with the camera. It wrapped up with a meeting of a few minds in the Tram Club.

January 1, 2009. A Fresh Start?

Well a year has come and gone. Januray 1, a day in which we decide to make certain changes; A Fresh Start, hopefully that just means more Fresh Snow is coming! My resolutions have already paid their dividends. Karma has treated me well these last few weeks.
tWas a cold, blustery day, the front is moving in more snow for the Saturday & Sunday shred-tacular, much needed.
