Football season is almost here. With that comes more people sitting on their couches watching football all day Sunday, less people on the water, more people out hunting, and the water levels are just right... and it also means football sized fish are hungry and active!

Went down to Durango, CO for a family gathering minus my brother, two step-sisters, and one table dancing granny, next time I hope they're all there. Got to see my new niece Sadie and her older sister Sydney, my sister Michelle and her husband J.R. and my dad and Wheezy!

New Water, New Friends

A day of firsts... first time on this water, first time with new friends, first time in a drift boat, and the first zero of the year. I hooked into a few but just couldn't land them... live and learn I guess. Overall I had such a fun day and I hope I am invited back and I will do some time on the oars next time I promise. VIVA LA MEXICO

Went down to Mexico for B-dog's bachelor party/surf extravaganza.
Although Tiajuana is the definition of ghetto, and leaving the country is filled with sad faces and people peddling a bunch of crappy... well crap, the gated community we were in was more than awesome. We surfed and threw down mightily for the extended weekend. Some of us were able to shed old nicknames and some of us gained new ones.
Overall it was a great trip and it was great to be together with some friends that used to kick it constantly and now don't kick it as often as we'd all like.
